Nathan previously owned Heber Han PC, where he achieved an outstanding remand rate far exceeding the national average in federal court disability appeals. He attributes that success in large part to both a complete commitment to client goals as well as a superior understanding of social security law. He also understands the administrative hearing process, having previously written decisions for Administrative Law Judges and twice winning Exemplary Legal Writing Awards as an attorney advisor in SSA’s Office of Hearings Operations. He also provided training to Administrative Law Judges on the proper legal standards for decision-making. And, as a former member of the Office of General Counsel’s Program Law team, he advised on complex and unique questions of law and policy relating to SSA’s disability programs.
“It’s an incredible advantage to have litigated hundreds of cases from the other side of the table. Our team is well-equipped to handle the complex procedural and substantive issues that arise in each case for the benefit of our clients.” Nathan Heber
In addition to his work on behalf of disabled individuals, Nathan has represented clients in high-stakes automotive class action litigation against some of the world’s largest manufacturers. He draws from valuable litigation experience working in a prosecutor’s office and a private law firm.
