You-Jin Han

Founding Partner

You-Jin Han is a highly awarded former lawyer for the Social Security Administration, Office of General Counsel, with an exceptional background in high-stakes litigation. During her near decade at SSA, she played a key role in the development and implementation of programs designed to increase the office’s efficiency and in SSA disability cases.

You-Jin litigated hundreds of disability cases in federal district courts throughout Georgia, Florida, and Alabama, as well as other federal circuits. She was lead counsel in more than a dozen cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and provided guidance to other attorneys in many others. She provided disability litigation trainings for administrative law judges, decision writers, and new attorneys.

You-Jin received about 20 performance awards from SSA, including for exemplary contributions to its federal court disability litigation practice and a Leadership Excellence Award.

Today, You-Jin represents average, everyday people in their fight for justice and fairness—a calling that often involves battling the largest corporations and governmental agencies. She believes her background in complex litigation provides the skills – and mindset – required to achieve success on behalf of those who put their trust in Heber Han PC.

“I’m grateful to be able to leverage my skills and strategic knowledge as a former SSA litigator for the benefit of our clients.  Our firm brings unwavering commitment to each case and client to level the playing field and pursue favorable outcomes.” You-Jin Han
