AUDI AC Odor Investigation

Heber Han PC is investigating a possible class action regarding reports from Audi owners of musty, moldy, or mildew-like odors coming from the air-conditioning (A/C) or HVAC system in their vehicles.

Owners have reported that when the A/C is turned on—particularly after the vehicle has been sitting or in warm, humid conditions—a musty or foul odor is emitted from the vents. Owners have reported being charged to address the issue. Further, owners have reported that the odor returns repeatedly, even after replacing the cabin air filter or having the system cleaned or disinfected by an Audi dealership.

This issue may affect the following Audi models: A3; A4; A4 Avant; A5; A6; S4; S5; S5 Cabriolet; RS 5; RS Cabriolet; SQ5; Q5 hybrid; Q3; Q5; Q7; Q8.
